M&M Q4 Results: Profit rises 17% YoY to Rs 1,167 cr; company announces Rs 11.55 per share dividend

NEW DELHI: Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) on Saturday reported a 17 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise in standalone profit (before exceptional items) at Rs 1,167 crore for the March quarter compared with Rs 998 crore in the same quarter last year. The standalone profit figure came in lower than Rs 1,320.50 crore estimated by analysts in an ET NOW poll.

After accounting for exceptional items, profit rose 427 per cent to Rs 1,292 crore from Rs 245 crore in the same quarter last year.

The standalone revenue for the quarter increased 28 per cent to Rs 17,124 crore from Rs 13,356 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The revenue figure beat ET NOW poll estimate of Rs 16,912 crore.

M&M said its auto business delivered the highest ever quarterly UV volumes in Q4 with 42 per cent growth YoY.

The company board announced a dividend of Rs 11.55 per share.

Margin for the quarter came in at 11.4 per cent against 14.7 per cent in the year-ago quarter and against ET NOW poll estimate of 11.7 per cent.
